Visitation Policy

Based on new updates from the Centers for Disease Control and New Jersey Department of Health, we have taken the next step in moving towards a new normal. After much consideration, our patients’ and their loved ones’ safety is the top priority.

December 13, 2022

Dear Residents/Responsible Parties/Staff/Business Associates:

Regretfully, we must alert all that there are positive COVID-19 cases in the facility. The visitation process is as follows:

It is SAFER and STRONGLY encouraged for visitors NOT enter the facility during this time, although visitation can still occur.

All residents and staff will be continued to be surveillanced and tested as needed.

All updates will be posted on the Emerson Health and Rehabilitation Website with daily numbers of any new cases for residents and/or employees.

Once 28 days has passed from the most recent COVID-19 case is identified, this outbreak will be deemed concluded.

If you must visit, PLEASE FOLLOW ALL RULES BELOW:

All MUST wear face masks AT ALL TIMES.

Only 2 visitors at any given time. It has been a constant struggle with many visitors not abiding by these rules and potentially exposing all to COVID-19. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of all.

If you or a family member are feeling ill, please do not visit loved one.

Please understand, collectively, that our goal is to keep residents and our healthcare workers safe but “it takes a village”, so we all must participate in this endeavor with this most vulnerable population.

Please do not hesitate to contact the facility with any questions. Any one of us will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance,

The Emerson Health & Rehabilitation Administration
