Visitation Policy

Based on the many updates from the Centers for Disease Control and New Jersey Department of Health, Throughout the COVID pandemic, we have been keeping our community as up to date as possible to ensure the health and safety of our patients and employees as that is our top priority.

Dear Residents/Responsible Parties/Staff/Business Associates:

Emerson Health & Rehabilitation Center is excited to announce that our facility is now MASK OPTIONAL.

Mask optional, meaning visitors entering the facility are no longer required to wear a mask or source control.

Emerson Health & Rehabilitation has set guidelines to follow for visitation, and we will continue to adhere to the core principles of infection prevention. The guidelines for visitation are as follows: though face masks are optional, during this time, we encourage you to wear a face mask while in the facility, perform hand hygiene often, refrain from visiting if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19, and only allowed two (2) visitors per resident at a time.

It is most important that you please follow the policies we have set in place. Everyone needs to work together to take extra precautions. Please maintain following the core principles of infection prevention for your loved one and yourself.

In the event of a facility COVID-19 Outbreak. All will be strongly encouraged to wear masks or source control again. Please note that this is subject to change at any time, depending on the community transmission rate of COVID-19 and CDC/Department of Health guidelines.
